We serve families brought to New York by the worst news of their lives. Children fighting cancer and other serious pediatric illnesses. Parents who haven't slept properly in weeks. Together, the House becomes more than a place to stay—it becomes a community built on hope and compassion.

Our Family Rooms

Ronald McDonald Family Rooms are located just steps from pediatric units. This proximity is by design. It gives caregivers a place to rest and recharge without straying far from their child's bedside.

The goal? To help parents prioritize their own well-being. Because when they're cared for, they can focus on what matters most: care for their child.

Our strategic growth goal

Our strategic growth goal: Since opening our first Family Room at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County in 2016, we’ve expanded to three additional locations across eight hospital partnerships. We’re working to bring Family Rooms to every borough, ensuring no family has to leave their child’s side.

Community Highlights

100 nights of care

It costs $465 per day to house and support a family with services such as meals, transportation, counseling, and more. Families are asked to donate $35 per night. Payment is NEVER required for those who cannot afford it. A tremendous relief for parents who have enough to deal with.

Your support fills the gap between what insurance covers and what families actually need: proximity. Join us in raising enough to cover 100 nights of care this year.
