Our Impact

Two brothers in a staring content at the House

Together, we’re changing what’s possible for families facing pediatric illness.

For more than 46 years, our impact has been measured one family at a time. Ronald McDonald House New York gives families a place to stay and a community to lean on when their child needs medical care in New York City. From the House at East 73rd and 1st Avenue to Family Rooms in hospitals across the city, we ensure that no family ever faces it alone.

How We Support Families

RMH-NY has continuously lightened the load for families dealing with pediatric cancer and other serious illnesses, offering a nurturing home away from home while their children receive medical care at NYC hospitals.

Family Rooms

2024 marked a significant expansion with two new Family Rooms at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan and Montefiore Einstein. These Family Rooms represent more than just physical spaces; they are a hub of emotional and psychological support, helping families to maintain a sense of normalcy and stability during a health crises. Families describe it as “a welcoming escape.”
