Resonance Music Studios & RMH-NY 2026 Presents “Play it Forward”
Please come support our musician’s as they perform in support of the Ronald McDonald House New York.
The Ronald McDonald House New York gives families with sick children battling pediatric cancer the gift of togetherness, and keep them near the care and resources they need to thrive. It is a supportive and caring environment that encourages and nurtures the development of child-to-child and parent-to-parent support systems. Services include housing, meals, transportation, activities, programs and family support.
Date: Saturday November 28 2026 & Sunday, November 29, 2026
Time: 12:00pm – 6pm
Location: Paramount Theater
Built in 1929 as a glamorous Art Deco movie palace, the Paramount Theater offered patrons a sophisticated lounge, an opulent Wurlitzer organ, and modern air-conditioned comfort. Its faux-Tudor exterior featured a Broadway-style marquee that lit up all of downtown Peekskill. The Paramount thrived until the 1960s, when shopping malls and cineplexes lured audiences away. In 1973, Paramount Pictures sold the theater building; four years later, the City of Peekskill acquired it. Thanks to dedicated community leaders and generous support from local corporations, foundations, and New York State, the historic cinema was beautifully restored and revitalized as a performing arts center between 2006-2009. The City hired commercial operators to book artists and run the new arts center.
