Ronald McDonald House New York has supported over 59,000 families since 1979.
When families travel to NYC seeking the world's best treatment programs for cancer and other pediatric illnesses, they will find a home away from home and a strong circle of support at Ronald McDonald House New York.
Thanks to our incredible donor base, we offer an array of services and programs tailored to meet the needs of every family member.
At RMH-NY, we make sure that a kid gets to be a kid first, and a patient second.

During #ChildhoodCancerAwarenessMonth we encourage you to Go Gold in honor and in memory of children battling prediatric cancer. Your support allows us to help families as they navigate a diagnosis of a serious pediatric illness and go through potentially life-saving treatment.
Last Friday was #NationalSuperheroDay and our friends at @mcdonalds made it extra special for children and families staying at the House. We served McDonald's for dinner before unleashing our inner superhero by decorating our very own capes! There was no shortage of Hulks, Supermen, and Wonder Women in our dining room that night! ⚡️
Additionally, McDonald’s restaurants across Manhattan served up Superhero Spicy Chicken McNuggets, with 15% of proceeds from April 28-30 coming back to Ronald McDonald House New York. We extend our gratitude to Manhattan McDonald’s Owner/Operators for raising awareness of Ronald McDonald House New York and inspiring New Yorkers to be champions for our mission.
Last week, we received a very special visit from our good friend, Chris Pratt! Chris visited the children and families staying at Ronald McDonald House New York and brought along some special goodies from the new Super Mario Bros. Movie. The afternoon also included some FaceTime calls with some kiddos who couldn’t be there in person but were just as excited to meet Chris and get in on all the fun. Thank you@prattprattpratt@mdceleste(#MDCProductions) for organizing the event and@universalpictures(#universal) for donating hundreds of Super Mario-themed toys and gifts for the kids
Last week, our families received a special visit from the @McDonalds Grimace and helped him celebrate his birthday! We’ve had many birthday celebrations here at RMH-NY and couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate Grimace’s birthday than right here with our families! Our families had a blast as they enjoyed McDonald’s for dinner, a special edition purple milkshake, and a scrapbooking activity with Grimace. Thank you to our partners at @RMHC and @McDonalds for bringing this event to our families 💜
RMH-NY understands the overwhelming value of keeping a family close to a child during their treatment. That idea could not have been more apparent than in the case of Oliver and his brother, Octavio. To allow Oliver’s brother to stay close to his brother, RMH-NY enrolled him in a local school on the Upper East Side to continue his education.
Oliver and his family were also chosen as our 2023 RMH-NY Gala family honorees. Visit Instagram to learn more about Oliver and his family’s story.
