✨ Highlights from the Conversation
A Magical Night of Hope and Healing
Dr. Browne reflected on the success of the 2025 Annual Gala at Cipriani Wall Street, describing it as “magical in every way.” The evening honored Lynn Martin, President of the NYSE, and Dr. Richard O’Reilly, a pioneer in pediatric cancer treatment, alongside inspiring stories from young patients and families who have called RMH-NY home.
Travelers’ Longstanding Commitment to Community
Maria Olivo shared how Travelers continues to make a meaningful impact through corporate philanthropy—contributing $24 million in 2024 to causes across education, the arts, and healthcare. Since 2006, Travelers has donated nearly $380,000 to RMH-NY and engaged employees as volunteers to support families through shared meals, events, and moments of compassion.
Looking Ahead to the 2026 RMH-NY Gala
During the interview, Dr. Browne proudly announced Maria Olivo as the 2026 Ronald McDonald House New York Gala Honoree, recognizing her leadership, generosity, and heartfelt dedication to helping families heal together.
Transforming Spaces for Family Connection
Dr. Browne also unveiled plans for a major renovation project—a full redesign of the House’s second floor that will bring dining and recreation spaces together. The project aims to strengthen opportunities for families to connect, relax, and create cherished memories outside of hospital walls.
“We’re trying to create memories for families along a health and healing journey, and also create a sense of normalcy for them,” says Dr. Browne.
