This comforting haven is the first of its kind designed specifically for outpatient families, located right in the waiting area of the outpatient services. The new Family Room provides a peaceful, supportive space where caregivers, siblings, and families can find respite while their children receive essential medical care.

The Metropolitan Family Room is the fourth such space RMH-NY has opened in partnership with NYC Health + Hospitals, marking a significant milestone in their mission to bring compassionate care to families throughout the city’s public hospital system. With the generous support of the Garden of Dreams Foundation, this Family Room has been thoughtfully designed to offer comfort and hope to families, thanks to the foundation’s unique ‘magical touch.’
