Ronald McDonald Family Room at King's County Hospital Transformed into Winter Wonderland

At New York City Health + Hospital/King's County, the Ronald McDonald Family Room was transformed into a winter wonderland for children undergoing treatment for serious illnesses like cancer.

Christmas trees, snowflakes, and other festive decorations adorned the hospital's family room over the course of several days thanks to Macy's volunteers. This was to make sure patients and their families received some holiday cheer.

Ronald McDonald House New York is an organization that provides temporary housing for pediatric cancer patients and their families. It has served over 59,000 families across all five New York City boroughs, across the country and internationally since the organization was founded in 1979.
