NEW YORK, June 30, 2025 – Ronald McDonald House New York (RMH-NY) today announced a transformative renovation project designed to reimagine and enhance the communal spaces on the second floor of its House at 405 East 73rd Street—including dining, kitchen, and program areas that serve as the heart of daily life for families with children battling serious illnesses.

For teenagers in New York City who want to make a real difference, volunteering can be more than just community service hours—it can be a transformational experience. The Youth Advisory Council (YAC) at Ronald McDonald House New York offers one of the most meaningful and hands-on opportunities for high school students to grow as compassionate leaders, fundraisers, and changemakers.

“It's so important to think about how you can help others in a very tangible way. You know, there's a lot going on in this world, but right now this is the way I can help and it's a way I can really give back.”
