RMH-NY Celebrates Spring Returning with the FDNY and NYPD on PIX 11

Every year as the trees begin to regain their leaves, the earth's natural color starts to come back to life, and all of that bewildering winter worry begins to melt away, Ronald McDonald House New York get a visit from a very special friend.

With the help of our long time partners at the FDNY and NYPD, Mr. Bunny, the magical Hoppy Spring Rabbit (or the firefighter who lost the Rock, Paper, Scissors contest back at the station earlier in the afternoon), makes his yearly pilgrimage to RMH-NY to say hello to all of its amazing kids, bring them some spring-a-licious chocolate goodies, and simply spread a whole lot of joy.

Everyone in the House lines up outside in front of the fire truck that escorted Mr. Bunny to see all the kids to wait for the moment they get to shake the life-sized furry creature's pink, fuzzy glove. Pictures are taken and laughs are exchanges. And a few, quick Cadbury eggs later, Mr. Bunny is headed out in is Fire Truck of red off to his next destination to continue spreading Hoppy Spring smiles to every kid around the world .

Take a quick peek at Mr. Bunny and Ronald McDonald House New York's Hoppy Spring Celebration here. Watch coverage of the annual seasonal event on PIX 11 below.
