Housing Navigator Specialist
The Housing Navigator Specialist plays a key role in advancing health equity by helping individuals and families secure safe, stable housing - a critical determinant of health. Reporting to the Medical Respite Program Administrator, the Housing Navigator provides intensive support to patients and families experiencing housing insecurity or homelessness. This includes assisting with housing applications, navigating NYC systems, connecting with community-based organizations, and advocating for long-term housing stability.

Project Manager
The Project Manager plays a critical role in advancing high-priority, cross-functional initiatives across our organization. This newly created position will lead and support project management efforts related to program expansion and development, technology implementation, and other strategic initiatives. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Human Resources, the Project Manager will collaborate with teams across departments to ensure projects are well-coordinated, people-focused, and executed on time and within scope.

The Family Room Associate supports the NYC Health/Hospitals Kings Family Room in Brooklyn for the Ronald McDonald House New York (RMH-NY). The Family Room Coordinator serves as a key component of the Programs team to advance the organization’s mission to serve and increase community knowledge and engagement.

Community Health Worker
The Community Health Worker works to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care across various healthcare settings and specialties. They collaborate with healthcare providers, patients, and their families to develop and implement care plans, monitor patient progress, address barriers to care, and facilitate communication among members of the healthcare team. Care coordinators complete case management, outreach, referral management and education as well as providing linkages to state and federal benefit programs and benefit program application assistance.
Medical Respite Program Manager
The Medical Respite Program Administrator will lead the day-to-day operations of a new Medicaid-funded respite program serving young adults experiencing housing insecurity and medical needs. This program provides short-term housing and support to individuals, with a focus on those facing maternal health-related complications or undergoing cancer treatment. The program will host up to 10 participants and their caregivers in a residential setting.

Social Worker
The Social Worker – Medical Respite Program plays a vital role in providing trauma-informed, person-centered support to young adults experiencing housing insecurity alongside medical challenges particularly those facing maternal health complications or undergoing cancer treatment. This position is part of a new initiative launched in partnership with New York State under the Medicaid waiver, offering medical respite housing and supportive services to up to 10 patients and their caregivers or family members at a time.
Family Room Associate - Metropolitan
Ronald McDonald House New York is looking for a Family Room Associate to support our satellite centers in partnering hospitals. While this role’s main hub will be the Metropolitan Family Room in Manhattan, there will also be opportunities to support our other locations in Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx, as well as our Wellness Center at our main location on the Upper East Side.
Calling all AmeriCorps Service Members
Ronald McDonald House New York (RMH-NY) Public Health AmeriCorps is a workforce development program building infrastructure to advance health equity outcomes for underserved children and their families. Members perform a full year of service for RMH-NY’s targeted population across all five boroughs in NYC public and safety-net hospitals.
Opportunity
- Assist underserved communities by improving RMH-NY’s delivery of services
- Conduct local surveys, market research and more to determine Social Determinants of Health
- Work with Family Support team to engage with patients and caregivers
